So last few days my husband bought me a pressure cooker from Russell Taylor's which I really am blessed for (walaupun bukan dryer, tapi pressure cooker really help to save my time + energy) I'm telling you. And I'll tell you my honest review of Russell Taylor's Pressure Cooker PC-60.
At the first look, this pressure cooker is really reliable since I only grew up with the stove type of pressure cooker before which only allows you to cook soupy dishes (like Sup Tulang, Sup Gearbox etc). It's more reliable as the functions doesn't only goes to cook but also bake.
There's soup , chicken, fish, cake, steam, porridge, rice, beans/tendons and also keep warm only function. As for the functions listed, I'm satisfied. As I thought, okay lepas ni boleh letak je semua benda and tekan satu click and let the magic do the work 😂.
To test out this pressure cooker, I tried chicken and prawn alfredo fettucini pasta last night mix with some leftover macaroni. From my experience before, cooking pasta/spaghetti or even macaroni on stove is taking some time. Like really taking time. Normally, you need to heat up your pot filled with water for about 5-10 minutes, then you need to close the heat and put in your pasta/spaghetti in, then close them and wait for another 4-5 minutes again right? Then you need more time to cook them again right? Like the sauce etc.
But, with this pressure cooker which I started to fall in love with, cooking pasta only takes 7 minutes! All in! With the sauce and the pasta! Kan? Sekejap je kan? Hahaha. Ya rabbi, I personally thank you to the one that created thi. Hahaha
Jadi, sukacitanya saya kongsikan ;
EASY 7 MINUTES RECIPE OF CHICKEN & PRAWN FETTUCCINE ALFREDO PRESSURE COOKER;
To cook this you need :
- Pasta/Spaghetti/Macaroni of your choice
- 3 cloves of Garlic (diced)
- 1 Onion (diced)
- Chicken Stock/Chicken Seasoning (I used Knor)
- 2 Cups of hot water
- Parmesan Cheese (I choose to have the block type so I can grate as much as I want it to be)
- Parsley (for topping)
- Corn Starch (not in the picture)
- Chicken Breast (sliced)
- Prawn (solid frozen)
- Olive Oil
- Salt
- Black Pepper
To start with ;
- Plug in your pressure cooker. Click on 'Chicken'
- Pour in Olive Oil (as much as you want)
- Next, put in your onion and garlic.
- After they have heated up and turn into brownish.
- Pour in your pasta/spaghetti
- Mix up 1 cup of water with 4-5 spoon of Chicken Stock/Chicken Seasoning
- Put in your prawn and chicken slices in.
And leave it close until the pressure cooker shows 'bb' on the screen which means its done.
After 'bb' appeared on the screen, turn the pressure knob to exhaust. After the pressure are all out and it became silent. You can safely open the pressure pot.
Next, put in your corn starch which have been mixed with 1 cup of hot water and put in your parmesan cheese (as much as you want). Not to forget, Salt and Pepper for seasoning.
Then you are done! Serve it best while its hot with dash of parsley on top.
TADAAAA!

Overall it goes as below :
- Handling : 8/10
- Temperature & Timing Control : 8/10 (They don't make sound when the cooking is finish, only show 'bb')
- Cleaning : 9/10 (they don't have that non-stick bottom but food don't stick on it. Impressive!)
- Exhaust/Seal Knob : 6/10 (a bit loose but works well)
Anyway, I enjoy this very much as this help to save my energy + time a lot. So, pretty much suggesting you guys who love to cook to have one in your kitchen. No more raw meat and bloody meat after you cook with this😉
