Review DOOKKI - 1st Korean Topokki Buffet in Malaysia

Hi AssalamualaikumπŸ™‹
Okay on this entry , I would like to share with you guys especially those who are into korean food on this newly opened restaurant which is the 1st one of a kind in Malaysia!

Since this is the holy month of Ramadhan, this restaurant is the best choice for you to list it in guys because they have the Ramadhan Promotion!

With only one time pay, you can eat for 2 types of meal all over again!

Dookki means 2 meals in Korea. Dookki is an established brand in Korea since its very first opening in December 2014. Believe it or not, they now have more than 140 outlets worldwide , and Malaysia is one of it now!

With Dookki, you can have 2 rounds of meal. The 1st round is the very much love Korean authentic signature dish - Topokki and the 2nd round meal is by adding rice, kimchi etc to the remaining sauce to concoct the all time favourite Kimchi Fried Rice!

How authentic this korean restaurant would be is that they bring you 6 types of Topokki all air flown straight from Korea. And yes, this is my first time seeing and eating such delicious Topokki guys! I never thought Topokki would come in so many variants as seen in the picture.

Yes, that purple and white are among two of my favourite Topokki!

Cheese Topokki

Sweet Potato Topokki

Other than Topokki, not to worry as they serve various of 'Eomuk' (Fishcake), 'Kimnari' (Korean Seaweed Roll), seafood, tempura, wide selections of Ramyeon (Korean Noodles) and Vegetables.

I had their fishcakes, dumplings, fried chicken and kimnari.

The very most unbeatable heat that I have to admit comes from this restaurant is their sauces.

They have up to 7 types of sauces all originally from Korea from the sweet sauce to the very most spicy sauce I have ever had in my life before😩

Once you have your sit, you will see your tables are all set with all the chopsticks, spoons and what not must have on your dinner table and also with their soup as seen in the picture below.

Once you finished choose your sauce and have your Topokki to be cook, the staff will help you to mix the soup base with the sauce for the start.

Soup base.

We had the Flame sauce mix together with the soup base (which is refillable too!)

Half way through eating them, me and my husband regret to had the most spicy sauce they haveπŸ˜‚ Not to worry, as you can even mix the sauce up to your liking too!

Range of sauces you can choose from.

You can refer to the board before making your own sauce too.

Okay okay, now for Cheese Lovers. They have this very special Double Cheese Ring that consist of 2 types of cheese that you can added on.

The other good thing about this restaurant is that you don't have to worry if you are hesitate on which to choose or how to do the sauce and the mixing rice part all and all, because all their friendly staffs are ready to help you serve your dinner so you can have your own time to enjoy the food!

Once you are done with your Topokki,
you can ask help from the staff to make you your
Fried Kimchi Rice with the leftover soup before.

So, we had ours this much.

All you have to do, is to scoop your own rice at the section below
and ingredients you wanted.

Someone is enjoying her dinner here.

And someone is sleeping haha.

The Kimchi Fried Rice ingredients section.
You can take the bowl and scoop the rice up to your liking.

Other ingredients you can add on in your Kimchi Fried Rice.

As this is a buffet, yes! All the drinks and food are refillable until you full for up to 90 minutes long!

Drinks selection area.

'Odeng' to choose from (spicy and not spicy base soup).

Odeng time!

And that's how you eat in Korean restaurant okay.

Don't forget their authentic Fried Chicken, Dumplings and Seaweed Rice Cake Roll too!

Various selection of Ramyeon too!

So, tunggu apa lagi? If you guys still have no place for your iftar. This is the best place to go with! Find them at below details and happy fasting month 😘

  1. I really wanted to try this, but I can't eat toppoki that many, so I think it will be wasting if I go there. But when I saw this review, I just realise that they have many other choices too...
    not only toppoki.

  2. A caterer should be one that can offer a good drink list that includes not only non-alcoholic drinks but also plenty of alcoholic options. Catering
